Roman Countryside plus vine tasting or/and cooking lesson
Leaving Rome and discovering where already the old Romans spend their summer. The Albanian Hill was a volcano in the past and has left now a very fertile soil where the famous Frascati vine is produced or where the mushrooms, funghi porcini, are coming from. You will see the town of Frascati but also a beautiful volcanic lake where the Pope spends the summer – Castel Gandolfo. If you want you can have lunch in a restaurant that is family owned since 1882 and eat next to the Papal Palace overlooking this beautiful lake or have a vine tasting or a cooking lesson or everything combined as you wish. You need a vehicle and a driver to do the tour.
